THEMED COCKTAIL: GIN BASIL SMASH
4 oz Gin
2 oz Simple Syrup
Ice
10 Basil Leaves
2 oz Lemon Juice
2 oz Carbonated water
SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE AND SERVE
MATERIALS
PENCIL
OPTIONAL: TRACING PAPER (PARCHMENT PAPER WILL DO JUST FINE)
WATERCOLOUR PALETTE
WATERCOLOUR BRUSH
WATERCOLOUR PAPER
PAINTERS TAPE
TWO WATER CONTAINERS (One will be for cleaning brush, other will be clean water)
PAPER TOWEL
BALLPOINT BLACK PEN + PERMANENT BLACK MARKER
HARD SURFACE TO TAPE PAPER ON
Doing this will help prevent the watercolour sheet from buckling. AND when your piece is done, you can remove the painters tape and you will have a clean white frame.
STEP 1: THE DRAWING
If you don’t feel like drawing it yourself, I’ve got you covered!
Simply save the image, print, and then you can transfer the image onto watercolour using these steps. If you are comfortable drawing it yourself, you can skip the tracing steps below
If you are participating on the live video on May 14th, please draw this out ahead of time! That way we can jump right into painting.
